TLDR Low levels of vitamin B12 and ferritin are linked to early hair graying.
The study retrospectively analyzed 71 cases of premature canities (graying of hair) in an urban skin clinic in North India, focusing on demographic characteristics and associations with serum vitamin B12, ferritin, and thyroid function. It found significant associations between low levels of serum vitamin B12 and ferritin with premature graying of hair, while no significant correlation was observed with thyroid function. The findings suggested that nutritional deficiencies might play a role in the early onset of hair graying, highlighting the need for further research to explore these associations.

The post discusses the rarity of baldness among South Korean men. Users suggest this could be due to early treatment, high beauty standards, accessibility of healthcare, and genetics. Treatments like finasteride and dutasteride are commonly used, and hair transplants are also popular.
