Evaluation of Satisfaction Levels in Patients with Androgenic Alopecia After Combined Therapy with Minoxidil and Platelet-Rich Plasma

    This study assessed the satisfaction levels of 20 patients (16 women, 4 men) with androgenetic alopecia after undergoing a combined therapy of six sessions of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) mesotherapy and nightly application of 5% minoxidil. The evaluation was conducted using a four-item survey focusing on hair growth, reduction of hairless areas, overall satisfaction, and perceived effectiveness. The combination therapy of PRP and minoxidil showed promising results, with high patient satisfaction and acceptance, indicating a synergistic effect in treating androgenetic alopecia.
