TLDR The combined treatment is more effective and safer for improving sunken acne scars.
The study investigated the effects and safety of combining PRP and Yifu with ultrapulsed CO2 lattice laser in treating sunken acne scars in 700 patients, divided equally into a control group and a study group. The study group, which received the combined treatment, showed a higher total effective rate (81.43%) compared to the control group (70.00%). Additionally, the study group experienced lower ECCA and VSS scores, indicating better scar improvement and quality of life, and a lower incidence of adverse events (17.33% vs. 28.57%). The results suggested that the combined treatment was more effective and safer, significantly improving patients' quality of life.
