TLDR PRP helps hair regrowth and thickness.
This study used a humanized mouse model of androgenetic alopecia to investigate the effects of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on hair growth. The results showed that PRP stimulated hair regrowth, increased hair shaft diameter, and converted vellus hairs to terminal hairs. These findings suggest that PRP may be a promising treatment for androgenetic alopecia. The study suggests that the humanized AGA mouse model can be a useful tool for further research on PRP treatment for AGA. However, further studies are needed to confirm these results in humans.
