This retrospective cross-sectional study examined hormonal differences in 30 infertile patients with PCOS compared to a control group of infertile women without PCOS, matched for age and body mass index. The study found that women with PCOS had significantly higher levels of AMH and LH, and lower levels of E2 and FSH, compared to the control group. TSH and prolactin levels were similar between the two groups. These findings confirm that infertile patients with PCOS exhibit distinct serum levels of pituitary and ovarian sex hormones compared to those without the condition.
