Transcriptome-Based Selection and Validation of Optimal Housekeeping Genes for Skin Research in Goats (Capra Hircus)
July 2020
This study identified a set of stable house-keeping genes (HKGs) for goat skin tissue using RNA-seq technology, analyzing 39 samples. Eight genes were identified, with the combination of NCBP3, SDHA, and PTPRA showing the most stable expression across various conditions. This combination was recommended for normalizing gene expression in skin molecular biology experiments in goats and related species. Additionally, a new algorithm, ComprFinder, was developed for comprehensive analysis of HKG stability.
