TLDR Certain compounds from Kushtakudori ennai may help treat hair loss.
The study investigated the anti-alopecia potential of nine phytochemical compounds from Kushtakudori ennai using molecular docking techniques. The compounds, including Astragalin, Chebuloside, Friedelin, and Piperine, showed significant interactions with the androgen receptor, suggesting they could inhibit the enzyme 5-α-reductase and prevent hair follicle shrinkage. These findings indicate that these phytochemicals may offer promising anti-alopecia activity, potentially serving as effective treatments for hair loss.
