TLDR Combining microneedle-delivered ECM and radiofrequency improves skin elasticity and thickness more than ECM alone.
The study examined the effects of combining microneedle-delivered extracellular matrix compound (ECM-C) with radiofrequency (RF) on periorbital wrinkles in 25 Asian women aged 35-65. Both treatments improved skin hydration, elasticity, and thickness, with the RF combination showing greater improvements. Periocular wrinkle scores decreased more significantly with the combined treatment, and participants reported high satisfaction. The study concluded that the combination of ECM-C and RF enhanced rejuvenation effects on periorbital wrinkles, proving to be safe, effective, and well-tolerated.
