TLDR Intradermotherapy with minoxidil is as effective as topical application for treating hair loss.
This study compared the effectiveness of intradermotherapy with 0.5% minoxidil versus topical application of 5% minoxidil solution in treating androgenetic alopecia. It involved 24 participants, divided into two groups: 13 received intradermotherapy and 11 used topical minoxidil. After 12 weeks, both groups showed improved hair density and thickness, with no significant statistical difference between the two methods.
