The study investigated the hair growth activity of a hair tonic containing ethanol extract of Nothopanax scutellarium L. leaves on male rabbits. The results indicated that the hair tonic significantly promoted hair growth in the test subjects. This suggests that the ethanol extract of Nothopanax scutellarium L. leaves could be a potential ingredient for hair growth products.
