The study investigated the hair growth activity of hair tonics made from ethanolic extract, n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and water fractions of Ceiba leaf on New Zealand rabbits. The extracts were applied to shaved rabbit backs twice daily for 28 days, with hair length and weight measured at intervals. Results showed that the 5% extract, 2% n-hexane fraction, 2% ethyl acetate fraction, and 2% water fraction significantly accelerated hair growth, comparable to the 2% minoxidil control.
