The study demonstrated that a hair tonic containing delipidated ethanol extract of Capsicum frutescens L. leaves significantly promoted hair growth in male rabbits, with the 20% concentration showing comparable effectiveness to a 2% Minoxidil solution. This suggests the tonic could be a promising treatment for hair growth.
