TLDR SP treatment improves hair health and moisture retention better than water treatment.
This study used 3D Raman spectroscopy to evaluate the absorption and retention of hair care products on untreated, water-treated, and SP-treated hair samples. The SP treatment, involving Minoxell Scalp Intensive Ampoule, demonstrated significantly higher absorption and retention of nutrients and moisture compared to water treatment. SP-treated hair maintained stable absorption levels and deeper penetration over 30 minutes, while water-treated hair showed a decline. Additionally, SP treatment effectively reduced hair dryness and maintained moisture levels better than water treatment. These results suggest that SP treatment is more effective in enhancing and retaining hair health and moisture, with 3D Raman spectroscopy providing detailed insights into absorption patterns.
