TLDR Haeae-tang helps hair grow in mice.

The study investigated the effects of Haeae-tang (HET) on hair growth in C57BL/6 mice over 15 days, comparing it to a control group and a Minoxidil-treated group. HET significantly increased hair density to levels similar to Minoxidil but did not significantly affect hair thickness. Molecular analysis showed that HET increased IGF-1 mRNA and protein expression, important for hair growth, and indicated a trend towards increased VEGF expression. The study concluded that HET could be a safe and effective natural alternative for promoting hair growth and preventing hair loss, with no observed side effects.
