TLDR PRP injections effectively treat hair loss, with positive results in both monthly and every three months treatments.
This document is a compilation of summaries of different studies that evaluated the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) regimens for managing androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in single-center, blinded, randomized clinical trials. The studies found that PRP injections are an effective and well-tolerated therapy for AGA, with both monthly treatments transitioning to every three months and two sessions every three months showing positive results. The injection technique used was safe and well-tolerated, and both men and women responded similarly. However, further research is needed to determine the optimal PRP regimen.
