TLDR A new microneedle patch and yellow light therapy significantly promote hair regrowth.
The study presents a novel hair regrowth technology inspired by seed germination, combining dissolvable microneedle patches (HMNs) with exosomes from human amniotic mesenchymal stem cells (hAMSCs) and hair nanoparticles (HNPs). These HMNs effectively penetrate the skin to deliver exosomes, activating hair follicle stem cells and promoting hair regrowth. Additionally, a low-color-temperature yellow light (1900 K) is used to reduce inflammation and further stimulate hair growth. Animal experiments demonstrated significant hair regrowth within 7 days, with no adverse effects, suggesting a promising clinical application for treating hair loss.
