TLDR Poor diets worsen PCOS symptoms in young women.
The study investigated the impact of dietary habits on the severity of physical symptoms in young females diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Conducted on 45 participants, the cross-sectional study utilized SPSS for statistical analysis, specifically Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient, to examine the relationship between poor dietary habits and symptom severity. The findings indicated a weak to moderate correlation, supporting the hypothesis that unhealthy dietary habits are associated with increased severity of PCOS symptoms. This underscores the importance of diet in managing PCOS.
