Efforts to raise awareness of Demodex mites and demodicosis are crucial due to their significant impact on human diseases. A multidisciplinary approach is needed to prioritize this issue on the global health agenda, which includes investing in research, enhancing diagnostic tools, and developing new treatment strategies. These actions are expected to improve public health outcomes and enhance the quality of life for those affected by these mites.
