TLDR AC5 improves hair loss and hair quality with high satisfaction rates.
The study evaluated the efficacy of AC5, a cosmetic product, in treating mild androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in 357 subjects (214 women and 143 men) across six countries over 3 months. Results showed that 89% of subjects experienced improved hair loss, with slightly better outcomes in women (92.5%) than men (83.8%). Hair quality was rated as satisfactory or highly satisfactory by 92.4% of subjects, and 96.7% of investigators were satisfied with AC5's benefits, with 98.4% recommending its further use. Subject satisfaction was high, with a mean score of 7.9 out of 10, and tolerability was rated good to very good by 98.6% of subjects. Despite limitations such as the observational design and lack of objective clinical assessments, the study confirmed that AC5 improves hair loss and hair quality with high satisfaction rates.
