The study evaluated the effectiveness of a combination therapy for androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in 18,918 Asian men treated between 2011 and 2017. The therapy included oral finasteride, oral and topical minoxidil, and a monthly injectable treatment with various compounds. Results showed significant improvement in hair growth, with 96% and 80% of patients satisfied after 6 and 12 months, respectively. Minor complications occurred in 4.2% of patients, including slight pain and bleeding, but these resolved spontaneously. The study concluded that the combination therapy was a safe and highly effective treatment for AGA with minimal complications.
