This study analyzed the annual changes in clinical manifestation of androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in Korean males and females over a period of 5 years. The study found that the prevalence of AGA significantly increased over the years, with type I AGA being the most common in both males and females. A family history of baldness was present in a majority of patients, with paternal inheritance being the most common. Associated diseases were observed in a significant number of patients, with seborrheic dermatitis being the most common. The study suggests that a long-term study is needed to identify annual changes in AGA pattern and to determine the age of onset of AGA.
