Prevalence of Androgenetic Alopecia Among Physiotherapy Students of Lahore: A Cross-Sectional Study

    This study investigates the prevalence of androgenetic alopecia (AGA) among physiotherapy students in Lahore, Pakistan, using a cross-sectional method with 180 participants aged 18-30. The results show that 55.6% of male students experience male pattern hair loss, while 60% of female students experience female pattern hair loss, leading to an overall prevalence of 57.77%. The findings highlight the significant impact of hair loss on young adults in this academic setting and suggest the need for better public education, early treatment strategies, and further research into the effects of stress, lifestyle, and genetics on AGA.
