TLDR Finasteride 5mg/day improves hair loss in normoandrogenic Asian women.
This document includes three different studies. The first study compares the quality of life (QoL) in acne patients before and after treatment with either isotretinoin or antibiotics and shows that there was no deterioration in the depression score and QoL in the physical and social domains improved in treatment groups. The second study evaluates the efficacy of high-dose (5 mg/d) of oral finasteride in normoandrogenic Asian women with female pattern hair loss (FPHL) and shows that oral finasteride, 5 mg/day, may be an effective and safe treatment for normoandrogenic women with FPHL. The third study discusses acne fulminans, a rare severe form of acne vulgaris associated with systemic symptoms, and its treatment.
