Pollutants are harmful substances introduced into the environment that can cause adverse effects on living organisms and ecosystems. These can be chemicals, particulate matter, or biological materials that contaminate air, water, or soil, leading to health issues such as respiratory problems, skin conditions, and even contributing to hair loss and alopecia by damaging hair follicles and disrupting normal biological processes.
