TLDR WS PRO 160 I 120 mg effectively treats urinary symptoms from BPH with good safety and tolerability.
WS PRO 160 I 120 mg, a combination of sabal fruit extract and urtica root extract, was reviewed for its effectiveness in treating lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) related to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men aged 50 and older. The review included four randomized, placebo- or reference-controlled double-blind clinical trials. The treatment showed superior symptomatic improvement over placebo and was comparable to finasteride and tamsulosin, with better tolerability and safety profiles. The findings suggested that WS PRO 160 I 120 mg could be a valid alternative for early BPH treatment, particularly regarding sexual function and quality of life, especially for long-term use.
