TLDR Tamsulosin and finasteride together effectively slow down and prevent BPH progression.
The study investigated the efficacy of combining tamsulosin and finasteride in delaying and preventing the clinical progression of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Patients with risk factors for BPH progression were treated with these medications, and relevant indicators were observed before and after treatment. The results showed significant improvement in all symptoms and a notable reduction in the risk of clinical progression. The study concluded that tamsulosin and finasteride effectively reduced the incidence of BPH progression.
