TLDR Cord blood fraction heals skin wounds as effectively as Actovegin.
This study compared the effects of a low molecular weight cattle cord blood fraction (CBF) and the drug Actovegin on wound healing in rats with skin cryolesions. Both treatments accelerated tissue regeneration, improved blood parameters, and enhanced wound healing by promoting hypervascularization and preventing sclerotic processes. The results indicated that CBF had a pronounced wound healing effect similar to that of Actovegin, suggesting its potential as an effective therapy for skin injuries.
