TLDR Microneedle Treatment System is effective for hair growth and skin improvement with no serious side effects, but more research is needed.

The review "Analysis of Trend of Studies on Microneedle Treatment System (MTS)" analyzed research from January 2010 to August 2021, including 7 animal studies, 2 clinical trials, and 10 case studies. The majority of these studies focused on skin improvement, hair growth, and the stability of MTS. The results confirmed MTS's effectiveness in promoting hair growth and improving skin conditions, including acne and acne scars. For instance, one study showed significant improvement in hair density and diameter in patients with Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA) treated with MTS. However, the review noted that most studies combined MTS with other treatments and the number of clinical trials was small. No serious side effects were observed during MTS treatment, confirming its safety. The document concludes that more diverse research is needed.
