TLDR Wen by Chaz Dean Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner is better tolerated than salicylic acid and baby shampoos.
This double-blind, randomized, controlled trial assessed the tolerability of Wen by Chaz Dean Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner (WCDSAMCC) compared to three other hair cleansing conditioners and two controls (salicylic acid shampoo and baby shampoo) in 200 volunteers. The study found no significant differences in tolerability between WCDSAMCC and the other hair cleansing conditioners. However, WCDSAMCC was significantly better tolerated than both controls, with fewer adverse reactions. This provided critical clinical evidence that WCDSAMCC had a comparative lack of cutaneous effects.
