A case report on a 6-year-old Pomeranian crossbreed dog named Putri, suffering from Sarcoptes scabiei infection, highlights the successful treatment of scabies. The dog exhibited symptoms such as alopecia, severe hyperkeratosis, and crusting. Diagnosis was confirmed through skin scraping and hematology examinations, revealing the presence of mites and anemia. Treatment included ivermectin, chlorpheniramine maleate, fish oil, vitamins, and regular bathing with Sebasol shampoo. After 16 days, the dog showed significant improvement, with reduced itching, disappearance of lesions, and hair regrowth in affected areas.
