    TLDR Autologous platelet concentrates can effectively treat oral lichen planus like topical steroids.
    Autologous platelet concentrates and topical steroids both effectively reduced lesion size, Thongprasom scale scores, and pain in patients with oral lichen planus, with no statistically significant difference between the two treatments. Therefore, autologous platelet concentrates may serve as an alternative treatment to topical steroids.
