TLDR Peanut stem extract has strong antioxidants and moderate cancer-fighting potential.
The study analyzed the ethyl acetate extract (EAE) from peanut stems, identifying terpenoids, flavonoids, alkaloids, and phenolics through LC-MS/MS analysis. The EAE demonstrated very strong antioxidant properties and moderate activity in cytotoxicity and toxicity tests against MCF-7 cell lines in both in-vitro and in-silico evaluations.
