    The study aimed to isolate a non-toxic, non-irritant anti-alopecic compound from Aloe barbadensis Miller. Researchers used chromatographic techniques to isolate the compound and tested its cytotoxicity and dermal irritancy. Alopecia was induced in Wistar rats using warfarin, and the compound was applied topically. Histological analysis showed that the compound significantly promoted hair follicle regeneration and hair growth compared to minoxidil. The findings suggested that the isolated compound could serve as a new anti-alopecic drug, potentially replacing minoxidil.
