TLDR Oregano extract helps fix testis and sperm damage caused by finasteride.

The study investigated the potential protective effects of Origanum vulgare extract on testis and sperm damages induced by finasteride. The results showed that the extract effectively improved all finasteride-induced structural and functional defects in mice testis. The extract reduced inflammation and apoptosis, increased spermiogenesis coefficients, and improved antioxidant activity. The study suggests that O. vulgare extract has protective effects against finasteride-induced testicular injury and may have potential as a natural alternative to mitigate the side effects of finasteride.
