Microneedling Combined With Compound Betamethasone in Treatment of Severe Alopecia Areata: A Case Report

    This case report details the treatment of a 3-year-old female with severe alopecia areata using microneedling combined with compound betamethasone. After 6 months of weekly sessions, the patient showed almost complete hair regrowth with no adverse reactions or recurrence. Dermoscopic examination confirmed significant improvement, indicating the potential of this combined treatment as an effective approach for severe alopecia areata. The study underscores the need for further research to validate long-term efficacy and safety.
