    The literature review examines how lifestyle factors, nutritional choices, and supplements affect alopecia areata. It identifies smoking, alcohol consumption, and stress as associated with the condition, while deficiencies in vitamins D and B12, zinc, and iron are linked to it, indicating that dietary changes and supplements might be helpful. Additionally, obesity and sleep disorders may worsen alopecia areata. The review concludes that a holistic approach involving lifestyle changes and nutritional interventions could aid in managing the condition.
