TLDR Human Platelet Extract hair serum improves hair health and growth safely.
The study on Human Platelet Extract (HPE) hair serum involved 39 participants with thinning hair and demonstrated significant improvements in hair volume, density, scalp coverage, and overall appearance in the active group compared to the control group over 9 months. Conducted as a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, the study found that the HPE serum improved hair health, including reduced breakage and damage, with no adverse events. The control group, after crossing over to the active treatment, experienced similar benefits. The findings suggest that HPE hair serum is a safe and effective treatment for enhancing hair and scalp health, with potential for stimulating hair follicle regeneration and promoting hair growth. Future research will aim to confirm these results in a larger and more diverse population.
