The study analyzed 240 cases of androgenetic alopecia (AGA) to identify risk factors. It found that AGA was more common in males and had an earlier onset in younger individuals. High academic qualifications and mental work intensity were common among patients. A significant portion, 68.8%, reported poor mental health, and 46.7% experienced sleep disturbances. Dietary habits, such as consuming spicy or fatty foods, were noted in 54.6% of patients, and 53.3% had a family history of AGA. The study concluded that AGA was influenced by multiple factors, including age, occupation, education, mental status, genetics, and endocrine factors. It emphasized the importance of considering psychological treatment alongside drug therapy.
