    Huang Guan-se
TLDR Androgenetic alopecia is more common in males, can be influenced by lifestyle, and may be linked to other skin issues.
The study investigated the clinical genetics of androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in a family spanning 5 generations, including 32 patients (30 males and 2 females). It found that AGA was more prevalent in males and followed a pattern of sex-influenced dominance and delayed dominance. Additionally, bald individuals might experience other skin appendage diseases at different ages. The study also suggested a link between life habits and the severity of AGA.
