TLDR TriCell CD34+ cell-containing PRP therapy improves hair thickness and density in alopecia patients without side effects.
In 2020, a study involving 10 patients with various forms of alopecia evaluated the effectiveness of CD34+ cell-containing platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, extracted using the TriCell Platelet Concentrate System. The treatment was applied every 4 weeks for 3 months. The results showed significant improvements in hair thickness and density in all patients, with no reported side effects. The study concluded that this treatment was more effective and faster than conventional PRP injections, suggesting that TriCell CD34+ cell-containing PRP therapy could be a satisfactory treatment for improving hair thickness and density in alopecia patients.
