TLDR The nutritional supplement improved hair quality and reduced hair loss.
In 2017, a study with 30 volunteers (15 men and 15 women) over a 6-month period investigated the effects of a nutritional supplement containing omega 3-6-9, antioxidants, and other molecules on hair loss and hair health. The supplement demonstrated in vitro inhibition of 5α-reductase, comparable to finasteride and Serenoa repens. In vivo results showed that 83.3% of subjects had increased hair density, with improvements in hair diameter, vascularization, and reduced greasiness. Additionally, 93.3% reported reduced hair loss, and 89.3% observed stronger nails. The study concluded that the supplement was effective in improving hair quality and scalp coverage, suggesting potential benefits for hair health.
