TLDR HYDRO DELUXE BIO hyaluronic acid hydrogel is compatible with skin cells, may reduce inflammation, promote blood vessel growth, and protect against oxidative stress, suggesting it could help revitalize hair follicles.
The study evaluated the effects of HYDRO DELUXE BIO, a not cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) hydrogel, on human keratinocytes in vitro, with the aim of using it for mesotherapy treatments of the scalp. The hydrogel demonstrated high biocompatibility and significantly reduced the expression of the inflammation marker interleukin-8 in cells stimulated with Tumor Necrosis Factor. Additionally, it increased the expression of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor, indicating a potential to promote angiogenesis, which is crucial for hair growth. The hydrogel also showed a protective effect against oxidative stress, increasing cell survival. The results suggest that HYDRO DELUXE BIO could be effective for the biorevitalization of the hair follicle when used in mesotherapy for the scalp.
