TLDR Ecklonia cava improves the effectiveness of Diane-35 in managing PCOS symptoms.
This study investigated the effects of combining Ecklonia cava with Diane-35 in managing Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) in 50 women aged 18-40. Over 3 months, the group receiving both treatments showed significant improvements in weight, waist circumference, and hormonal levels (LH, FSH, LH/FSH ratio, free testosterone, and leptin) compared to the control group receiving only Diane-35. Additionally, there was a notable reduction in the inflammatory marker IL-8 and an increase in IL-10 levels. The findings suggest that Ecklonia cava enhances the effectiveness of Diane-35 in regulating clinical and biochemical parameters in PCOS patients.
