Impact of Dongeui Hot Spring Water Complex with Sea Slug Extract on Antioxidant Activity and Hair Papilla Cell Proliferation

The study evaluated the effects of Dongeui Hot Spring Water Complex (CPX) with sea slug extract on hair loss prevention. The complex demonstrated increased antioxidant activity and promoted hair papilla cell proliferation compared to a control group using distilled water. The results indicated that Dongeui Hot Spring Water CPX significantly enhanced DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities, suggesting its potential to neutralize free radicals around hair follicles. Additionally, it was non-toxic and supported hair papilla cell growth, indicating its potential as a beneficial ingredient for improving scalp health and preventing hair loss.
