TLDR The dietary supplement AGA-P improves the effectiveness of hair loss treatments.
This study investigated the impact of a novel dietary supplement, AGA-P, on the efficacy of pharmacological treatments for androgenic alopecia (AGA) and female androgenic alopecia (FAGA) in a multicenter, randomized, assessor-blinded trial involving 225 subjects. Participants were divided into two groups: one receiving both pharmacological treatment and dietary supplementation (Group A) and the other receiving only drug treatment (Group B). The study found that the addition of the dietary supplement significantly improved the clinical efficacy of the treatments, with 36.5% of Group A showing great improvement compared to 25% in Group B (p = 0.04). This suggests that AGA-P can enhance the effectiveness of minoxidil and finasteride in treating mild-to-severe AGA/FAGA.
