TLDR The new treatment improved hair growth and thickness in people with hair loss.
The study investigated the efficacy of a new combination of a microemulsion and oral supplementation for treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in 60 individuals with mild-to-moderate AGA. Participants underwent a 6-month treatment, and results were assessed using global photographs and TrichoScan® HD measurements. The study found a clinically visible improvement in hair loss and a statistically significant increase in hair parameters, such as total number of hairs, hair density, and hair thickness, at both 3- and 6-month follow-ups. The tested complex of natural substances demonstrated good efficacy in improving hair loss for both males and females, suggesting it could be a valid alternative or adjunct to conventional AGA treatments like minoxidil or finasteride.
