    TLDR EREG therapy may help treat hair loss by promoting hair growth.
    EREG, released from ORS cells, activated EGFR and ErbB4 on epidermal cells and dermal papilla cells (DPCs) during hair cycling. This activation led to a positive feedback loop in epidermal cells and regulated reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation in DPCs, promoting hair growth. Consequently, EREG therapy was suggested as a potential novel treatment for hair loss.
