The dog underwent orchiectomy and received melatonin for 3 months, resulting in partial hair regrowth and reduced alopecic areas after 90 days. The report highlights the significance of treating alopecia for the dog's health, as fur plays a vital role in thermoregulation and UV protection. Further evaluation will determine if additional treatments, such as microneedling, are necessary.
