TLDR The combination treatment improved acne scars.
This pilot clinical trial evaluated the effectiveness of a combination treatment for post-acne rolling scars, involving subcision with a blunt cannula, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, and microneedling. Conducted on 50 patients aged 18 to 40 years with mild to severe rolling acne scars, the study found a significant positive correlation between physician satisfaction and the age of onset of acne. However, there was a significant negative correlation between physician satisfaction and the types of scars. The combination treatment showed promise in improving the appearance of acne scars.
