TLDR Achyranthis Radix ethanol extract helps hair grow.
The study investigated the effects of Achyranthis Radix (AR) ethanol extract on hair growth by comparing it with minoxidil (MNXD) in human hair dermal papilla cells (HDPCs). The AR extract increased cell proliferation and protein expression of hair growth-related genes (IGF-1, Wnt3a, Akt, Erk). The results suggested that AR ethanol extract promoted hair growth and could be a potential hair growth supplement.
